What’s New @ Higher Ground

The Higher Ground Calendar is PACKED right now. If you’re a music nerd like me, it can be hard to choose which of the incredible artists you want to go see live. So many of these groups are sure to put on a great show, but we’ve created a (play)list of our favorites coming up we don’t think you should miss:

1. Josh Ritter and the Royal City BandJosh Ritter
Indie kids unite! Josh Ritter, renowned contemporary folk performer, plays at Higher Ground this Wednesday. Check out his new album ‘Sermon on the Rocks’ and get down with the Royal City Band!

2. No BS! Brass Band
On Wednesday, February 24th, dance the night away with the No BS! Brass Band. If you saw Trombone Shorty the other week, you’ll know that these kinds of concerts are a blast. Check out this tiny desk concert for a preview:

3. The Wood Brothers

If you’re looking for a something a little folkier, check out the Wood Brothers on Thursday, March 3rd. Their new album ‘Paradise’ got great reviews. Hear it live for yourself!

4. Rubblebucket
Dance with one of Burlington’s favorite jam bands. Start off Spring Break the right way with Rubblebucket on Friday, March 4th.

5. Mayday Parade and The Maine
Get your fill of boy bands with Mayday Parade and The Maine. Turn up on Tuesday, March 22nd.

6. Looking ahead- Leon Bridges
Go back in time and rock around the clock with Leon Bridges next September 8th. It may be far away, but there’s no doubt this concert will sell out fast.
