AN EVENING OF FOOD, DANCE & CULTURE from BURUNDI
DINNER:
Traditional Burundian cuisine prepared with authentic techniques and ingredients by members of Burlington’s Burundian community. The dinner will include appetizers, main dishes, and desserts; vegetarian options will be included.
ENTERTAINMENT:
Ethnic dance, music and drumming are all part of the Burundians’ vibrant and exciting performance, which will take place following the dinner.
CULTURE:
A short presentation telling the history of the Burundians and their experiences on their long journey to Vermont will be offered. Discussion is welcome.
