Kimchi (the Korean version of sauerkraut) is an amazing ingredient to have on hand in the kitchen – with three basic recipes you’ll be able to create dozens of delicious meals with whatever seasonal ingredients you have on hand. We’ll start by replicating the dish that launched the Korean food craze in North America – the Korean taco! Then we’ll explore the versatility of kimchi in two more recipes – kimchi stew and kimchi fried rice. You’ll also learn how to make Korean barbequed beef (bulgogi). Michelle Guenard, the kimchi maven behind Michelle’s Spicy Kimchi, will lead this workshop.
