Join the University of Vermont community as we welcome Dan Savage to campus.  In celebration of LGBTQApril, Dan will speak about the It Gets Better Project, an international project aimed at showing LGBTQ youth the levels of happiness, potential, and positivity their lives will reach. The It Gets Better Project wants to remind teenagers in the LGBT community that they are not alone — and it WILL get better.

A Q&A will follow Dan’s speech.  He will be signing books at the conclusion of the program.  A selection of books by Dan Savage will be available for purchase at the event.

Tickets are free for all community members.  Tickets for UVM Students (must show ID) will be available beginning Monday, April 2nd at the Dudley H. Davis Center Information Desks.   Tickets for the greater community will be available beginning Monday, April 9th.

Doors open at 6:00 PM.  Event Begins at 7:00 PM.
