Engage in contemplative practices, including meditation, simple movement, journaling and small group dialogue to break through barriers preventing authentic and intimate interaction.
This daylong retreat will be led by Lama Rod Owens, an activist/organizer, poet and teacher who identifies as Black, Queer and Buddhist. Known for his informal teaching style rooted in self-inquiry and humor, he has been recognized as one of the emerging leaders of the next generation of Dharma Teachers.
