This year marks the 5th Annual installment of Stand Up For The Lake.
This will be one great day of fun and paddling out on Lake Champlain.

Schedule of events for the day:

11:00 – 12:00: Onsite Registration
Come pick up your registration packets or register in person at Waterfront Park, right by the public launch ramp at the Coast Guard Station. Remember that registration fees increase if you register the day of the event.

12:00 – 12:30: Warm Ups
Open to everyone to warm up, get wet, cool off, and generally have some water time before the races begin.

12:00 – 5:00 Demos/Clinics
Open to everyone to demo boards, participate in clinics and learn as much as they can about standup padding and gear.

12:30: Orientation Meeting
Meet Race Director, Jen at the registration table to learn the race rules and course.

1:00 – 2:30: Men’s Long Course Race
Approximately 6.5 mile race starting outside the Coast Guard harbor with two laps in Burlington Bay either north towards Lone Rock Point or south towards Oakledge Park, depending on wind direction that day.
*Counts as an Elite race for WPA

1:15 – 3:45: Women’s Long Course
Approximately 6.5 mile race starting outside the Coast Guard harbor with two laps in Burlington Bay either north towards Lone Rock Point or south towards Oakledge Park, depending on wind direction that day.
*Counts as an Elite race for WPA

4:15 – 4:30: Men’s Recreational/Short Course
One lap around the short course located east of the boardwalk between the boathouse and the public launch ramp.

4:45 – 5:00: Women’s Recreational/Short Course
One lap around the short course located east of the boardwalk between the boathouse and the public launch ramp.

5:15: Awards Ceremony
