Best friends Dave Ahdoot and Ethan Fixell created an internet phenomenon by challenging pairs of women to double date them, and documenting the hilarious results for YouTubers everywhere. Hundreds of thousands of views — and 200 dates — later, their crash-course education has made them into bona fide dating experts who have mastered the arts of planning and budgeting the perfect evening, selecting the appropriate attire, avoiding awkward conversation, and of course, scoring a kiss at the end of the night. As their online videos continue to grow in popularity, Dave and Ethan host their own show at the People’s Improv Theater in New York City, divulging valuable advice based on some of their best and worst dating experiences. They have also shared the stage with comics such as Jim Gaffigan, Jim Norton, Anthony Jeselnik, and Amy Schumer, at some of the most established comedy clubs and theaters New York has to offer, including Gotham Comedy, Comix, and the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater.
Now, Dave and Ethan divulge valuable dating advice to college students across the nation through reenactments, monologues, interactive exercises, videos, and original songs. They have performed at hundreds of colleges and universities, and were most recently voted 2012’s Best Comedy Performers in Campus Activities Magazine. This past year, Dave & Ethan made their televsion network debut on NBC’s The Tonight Show w/ Jay Leno and were invited back to perform a special Mother’s Day song.
