Concert: Wolf Eyes at Pushing A Brain Uphill Festival
Legendary, confrontational Detroit noise band headlines the opening night of Pushing a Brain Uphill, a not-for-profit festival of experimental music. Locals Last World (an intense Rough Francis side project) and Staples (UVM students!) also perform; speakers from Vermonters for Criminal Justice Reform will also take the stage. Local beer + wine available for those of-age.
Tickets $12 at the door, or $10 ahead of time as part of the festival pass.
PUSHING A BRAIN UPHILL III is a volunteer-organized, not-for-profit festival organized out of shared need to make space for Burlington’s small but dedicated community of experimental musicians and to highlight the work of femme, queer and trans- identifying contemporary sound artists from Vermont and beyond. A limited number of weekend passes are available online for $25.
