Day-long meditation retreat

Join a community of meditators for a day-long silent meditation retreat. This is a space to deepen ones practice in a supportive space dedicated to meditation.

Meditation instruction will not be given – prior experience with meditation and an ability to practice independently is necessary. Practice periods will consist of 30 minute intervals for either sitting or walking meditation, with everyone free to practice how they choose.

All practice styles are welcome that consist of silent sitting or walking meditation. Participants are welcome to chat with others and share their experience after the formal schedule ends at 4pm.

Schedule:
9:30am – Arrival
10am-1pm – Sitting and walking meditation period
1pm-2pm – Lunch break (also in silence – bring your own bag lunch)
2pm-4pm – Sitting and walking meditation period
4pm-4:30pm – Closing and time to socialize
Cost: Sliding scale $25-40. No one turned away for lack of funds.
