Dinner + Discussion: Deconstructing Body Oppression

WHEN: Sunday, February 25th, 6:00pm – 7:30pm

WHERE: Livak Ballroom, Davis Center 4th Floor

*FREE DINNER*

In recognition of National Eating Disorders Awareness Week, February 25 – March 2, Living Well is committed to exploring body politics, body images issues, and intersecting identities in imagining what body liberation could look like.

Please join us as we kick off BODY LIBERATION WEEK with a world cafe-style dinner and discussion on deconstructing body oppression.

This event is open to UVM students, faculty, and staff. The World Café format allows UVM community members to come together to critically explore the social and political systems that oppress bodies. Those who have gathered for previous World Café gatherings report having found shared motivation for continued collaboration leading to concrete action steps.
