Diwali 2021

The Indian Student Association is proud to announce the 15th annual Diwali Night celebration on Friday, November 12th 2021 at 5:00 pm, in the Davis Center’s Grand Maple Ballroom. Diwali, the festival of light, marks the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness. It is a fun filled evening of food, music, and dance representing the varied cultural traditions from across India and Indian subcontinents. This event is a step forward in ISA’s efforts to recognize the diverse cultures on UVM’s campus, as well as an attempt to highlight the international presence in our community.

The gates open at 5:00 PM and the main event will start at 5:30 PM. The ticket is towards the traditional Indian subcontinental meal buffet after the cultural event, and the cultural event is open to everyone. The purchase of this ticket also entitles you to enter a raffle draw, whose winners will be announced on the day of the event. So please make sure to get your raffle ticket on the day of the event at the entrance. Note, a single ticket is entitled to a single entry for the raffle.
