Favorites Party

Do you have a piece of queer media you love? Or a hot take you would love to make about something that’s not queer that should be? You’re in luck! Its almost time for the last “Let’s Get Together,” a monthly gathering open to all queer UVM community members, including students, staff, and faculty, where participants will share food, informally connect with each other, and have semi-structured, themed, discussions.

This month, it’s time for a Power Point Party, a trend meant t0 mimic the feeling of giving a high school presentation. This can be unserious, funny and bring forth any hot takes on queer media! Each presentation should take 3-5 minutes and be about movies, music, tv, books or anything else.

If you don’t want to make a presentation, join anyway and be a part of the audience! Warm beverages, light snacks , and UVM’s queer community are available to all! Those who do present will be entered in a raffle to win a prize: A Basket of the Prism Team’s Favorite things.

The event will start at 4:00 pm in the Prism Center on 11/28. Be there!
