Fit From Home
Fit from Home is a bodyweight-only class based on functional fitness. Our goal is overall fitness for health or sport, through both strength and metabolic conditioning (a fancy name for cardio). All you need to join is your body, no equipment required! These classes will have two days a week with a higher intensity cardio day and one day a week that will be strength-based. We will always start with a roughly 10-minute warm-up followed by some mobility and then get into the Workout of the Day (WOD).
Everything we do can be scaled or adjusted for your personal needs. This class is for all bodies!
UVM Campus Recreation Fitness Programs offers fitness classes, both in-person and remote. The group fitness program provides opportunities for participants to achieve their wellness goals. The group fitness staff is passionate about supporting and guiding our community in developing the skills needed to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Classes are held in the PFG Athletic Complex and include Les Mills Body Pump, Les Mills RPM, Les Mills Body Attack, indoor cycling, a variety of yoga classes, U Barre, Zumba, kickbox and more. During the academic semester, there are 58-70 group fitness classes per week.
