Medicine Swap with Spoonful Herbals

Free to attend
Railyard Apothecary and Spoonful Herbals are co-hosting an Herbal Medicine Swap!
We are so pleased to be bringing back this tradition of sharing!
Saturday January 7th from 4-5 pm
A medicine swap is a wonderful way to trade/share your abundance of the medicine you’ve harvested or made, in exchange for those of your fellow local herbalists!  We can all share the plant love, diversify our home apothecaries, and meet new herbalist friends, too!
Here’s how it works:
  • Bring any homemade herbal products to trade (or give)
These might be individually packaged blends or products
OR jars full of tinctures, infused oils, or quantities of dried (or fresh) herbs
  • Label each item clearly with ingredients, instructions and dates made or harvested
  • You may ALSO bring items like extra jars, packaging, decorative bottles, seeds or books – items that might interest your fellow herbalists!
  • Bring plenty of your own clean bottles, jars, and bags to package up tradables brought in bulk.
They will provide the space and tools to bottle and label
(you can also purchase tincture bottles from Railyard Apothecary.)
  • Then trade and share away!
The more the merrier!  Tell your friends and colleagues!
Wintertime is great time to redistribute the previous season’s bounty before turning our attention toward a new growing season!
They also welcome interest and requests from organizations or individuals who would like to redistribute any extra donations from this event to further share with those in need through their community herbal medicine efforts. Please reach out to Spoonful Herbals at [email protected]
