Come To Life Music is an artist led collective, comprised of philosophically aligned musicians who have come together to leverage their talents, voices, and networks to inspire positive change for humanity and the planet.

Join us May 18th-20th at Higher Ground in Burlington, VT and Willow Crossing Farm in Johnson, VT where we will use music as a catalyst to collectively support the seeds of resilience where they are taking root, and to consider the world we are leaving behind. This inaugural event will feature 2 nights of Rising Appalachia along special guests.

On Sunday May 20th Rising Appalachia is looking forward to carrying the energy from two nights of shows in Burlington to connect with activists, organizers, herbalists, earth educators, elders, and others from throughout the state of Vermont more intimately and with shared work, music, food, and ceremony. This will be curated by Biko Cassini of Rising Appalachia along with Keith Morris & Kori Gelinas of Prospect Rock Permaculture and will take place at Willow Crossing Farm along the Lamoille River. Rising Appalachia brings to the stage a collection of sounds, stories, and songs steeped in tradition and a devotion to world culture. Intertwining a deep reverence for folk music and a passion for justice, they have made it their life’s work to sing songs that speak to something ancient yet surging with relevance. Whether playing at Red Rocks or in rail cars, at Italian street fairs or to Bulgarian herbalists, this fiercely independent band has blazed a unique and colorful path across the globe. 11 years into their movement, Rising Appalachia believes that the roots of all these old songs are vital to our ever evolving soundscape.

As an archival songstress, Peia has gathered songs from ancient traditions that span across the globe. She carries melodies wrinkled and wise with time, laboring faithfully to revive their language, stories and original essence.
Peia has just released her third studio album, Beauty Thunders, a collection of traditional and original songs tracing the movement of humanity and her own ancestors throughout the ages. This new album is produced by engineer and Grammy Award Nominee Kamal Engles and includes an array of phenomenal musicians from the world music community.
