The Fleming Museum of Art is excited to invite BIPOC faculty/staff and students to attend a heartfelt storytelling circle for each respective group on Thursday, September 23rd (faculty/staff, 5:00-6:30pm) and on Thursday, September 30th (students, 7:00-8:30pm). The storytelling circles will be led as affinity spaces by Ferene Paris Meyer of All Hearts Inspirations, who has been working as a consultant with the Fleming this summer and fall, supporting their ongoing effort to dismantle the museum as a site of historical oppression. This affinity space will be a place to reflect as a group about representation, creativity, and experiences with art.

They will be serving food from Pizza Verita as part of the event! Let them know if you would be interested in attending one of these sessions, or if you have any questions by sending an email to [email protected] or calling Chris at (802) 656-8582.
