the BLM community hike [round 2]
Join The Black Perspective for our second ‘BLM community hike’ at mount philo state park; or, as designated by Indigenous Abenaki folks, Mategwasaden: Rabbit Mountain. Gather to ground ourselves in our surroundings, to build community + coalition, and to tend to our bodies as we continue the work for Black liberation; and, thus, collective liberation, in vermont and in our world.
The Black Perspective will gather as a group next to the parking lot at the base of mount philo and prepare for the collective ascent. They will hike mount philo, and gather at the top for further community-building and quality time — all in a COVID-conscious and safe way. masks are required, and adequate physical distancing is expected, for your safety and the safety of those in our community.
They invite everyone to join them — there will be vehicles available for folks who wish or need transportation to the top of mount philo. for any other accommodations, please reach out to The Black Perspective.
