In 1926, a young couple set off into the British Columbia wilderness in search of an undiscovered mountain. A century later a group of would-be adventurers tries to retrace their steps. They soon find they’ve bitten off more than they can chew and it will take everything they’ve got to avoid disaster.
The Made Here Film Festival is New England’s only competitive festival devoted entirely to films made by filmmakers of the Northern New England states and their neighbor, Québec. Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Northern NY and Québec. It is a partnership with Vermont PBS and co-sponsored by Maine Public Television. Running for 5 days from Wednesday, May 5 through Sunday, May 9.
MHFF is free to the public but donations are encouraged. A percentage of the donation income will be shared with the filmmakers. VTIFF will also share viewing data with the filmmakers.
