Yoga and Meditation for Compassion with Lindsay Foreman
This is one of the least intimidating spaces to practice yoga and meditation! You don’t need a mat or any special spandex yoga clothing. You don’t have to look like those pictures on the cover of yoga magazines. You don’t have to be calm or flexible. Just come as you are…anxious, confused, happy, miserable, tired, energetic, whatever! The yoga part is super gentle and accessible to all bodies. The meditation part is about learning to love every aspect of you – even the aspects you wish were different. The class is led by Lindsay Foreman, the UVM Mindfulness Program Coordinator. Come once and check it out or make it a Wednesday ritual. This weekly drop-in is open to all students, staff, and faculty… and it’s totally free!
