Deer Tick is an American alternative rock-folk band from Providence, Rhode Island, composed of singer-songwriter John J. McCauley, guitarist Ian O’Neil, bassist Christopher Ryan and drummer Dennis Ryan.

With energy and dark humor, Deer Tick makes edgy, sparse, Americana-infused rock. After beginning as a duo, the group has evolved into a self-described “rock-rock-rock” outfit with a little something more: a twist of alt-country and gritty blues.

Deer Tick will be playing at Higher Ground on June 7th at 8pm. Tickets are $29.50.
