Eco Fair

The Eco-Reps Program is putting on an EcoFair on April 19th from 10am-4pm in the Davis Center Atrium. The event is an interactive fair featuring internal and external sustainability partners, focused on waste, transportation and food, providing sustainability information and resources at interactive tables. There will be giveaways including reusable menstrual cups, utensil kits, tote bags and stickers!

Reuse professional and filmmaker, Alex Eaves, will have his Tiny House Reuse Box Truck on display outside the Davis Center for students to ask questions, interact with the truck, and see an active example of the innovation that can come from meshing sustainability and creativity. His documentary “The Box Truck Film: Building a Reuseful Home” will be streamed in Brennan’s immediately after the fair, from 4:30-6:00. The screening will include raffle prizes and Q/A with Alex Eaves.

Other fair participants include: UVM Dining, Green Mountain Transit, Office of Sustainability, Thoughtfully Overthinking, Career Center Food, Environment, and Sustainability Interest Group, CarShare Vermont, Office of Equity, Belonging, and Student Engagement, VSTEP, Repair Café, Hunger Free Vermont, Yestermorrow Design/Build School, Chittenden Solid Waste District, Generation Conscious, Women & Gender Equity Center, UVM Bikes!, Salvation Farms, Apparel Impact, Bird Rides, Rally Cat’s Cupboard and more!
