What is Food Not Cops?
Food Not Cops is a mutual aid project started as a special collaboration involving Food Not Bombs VT and BTV CopWatch in March 2020.

We do lunch every day at the Marketplace Parking Garage (149 Cherry St, Burlington, VT); here we eat tasty food, meet our fellow Burlingtonians, get engrossed in fascinating conversations, build relationships, and ultimately figure out how to support each other.

Community Cook Nights.

Lunch is just one way to get involved in-person. We also cook together most every day—and this is another awesome way to get to know the Food Not Cops community.

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday evenings (various locations, Burlington, VT)
  • Wednesday at 6:00pm (Pathways VT Community Center, 279 N Winooski Av, Burlington, VT)
  • Saturday, Sunday at 11:00am (32 Hungerford Ter, Burlington, VT)

There’s so much more that Food Not Cops—you just have to get to know us! Bring your ideas, creativity, and stomach—that way we can build strong communities together.
