Grossman School of Business Research Seminar Series

The Grossman School of Business hosts research seminars twice a year to exchange ideas and collaborate with visiting scholars on new or existing projects. The next Research Seminar Series event, open to all UVM faculty and graduate students, will take place on Friday, October 27 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Ifshin Hall 358 featuring discussion leader Andrew King, professor of strategy & innovation, Boston University Questrom School of Business. These casual and informal seminars are an opportunity for UVM faculty and graduate students to brainstorm and enjoy collegial time together over lunch.

At the fall 2023 event, Professor King will explore whether corporate social responsibility, as measured by ESG ratings, is beneficial to firm profits and investor returns, how to interpret discoveries, and how future research can be made trustworthy and beneficial.

Interested UVM faculty and graduate students should RSVP to Patrick Callery, assistant professor, Grossman School of Business.
