Messy Roots in a Messier World: Heritage and Identity in a Post-COVID World

A presentation and conversation with best-selling author and illustrator Laura Gao. Laura’s book, “Messy Roots: A Graphic Memoir of a Wuhanese American,” was used by the Arts & Creativity and Global Connections Learning Communities as their summer read. Laura will sign copies of her book after the event (a limited number of free books will be available).
