queer and trans mindfulness

Tuesdays, 5:30-6:30PM @ The Prism Center Library

(located in Living & Learning, C Building at the corner of Main Street and University Heights)

This space is intended to be a safe and joyful container in which Queer and Trans students, staff, and faculty can experience the power of mindfulness in community. You can expect a guided meditation, time for authentic sharing, and contemplative reflection on ways to thrive in this oppressive world. No meditation experience is required. This is a group led by Queer and Trans students who have completed the UVM Mindfulness Facilitator Training program.

No registration required, just drop in!

The UVM mindfulness program affirms the inherent worth and dignity in all living beings. We welcome and celebrate people of every race, ethnicity, class, sexual orientation, age, gender identity, body size, ability, religion, and citizenship status. And we are actively working to investigate bias and challenge racism and all forms of oppression.
