Rethinking Economics

Have you ever asked yourselves if infinite growth on a finite planet is desirable or possible? Or why our economic system seems to be failing us in addressing the intertwined inequality and ecological crises of our time?

The Rethinking Economics chapter at UVM enthusiastically invites undergraduate/graduate students, faculty and staff to join us for a dialogue on “Why do we need to rethink economics to address the social and ecological crises of the 21st century?” on February 22nd from 4-5 pm at the Davis Center Silver Maple Ballroom.

This open dialogue will feature an exciting panel discussion among diverse economic thinkers from RSENR, CDAE, and the Economics Department at UVM.

Please RSVP here or with the QR code on the poster below so enough pizza can be ordered!
