Join the Burlington Walk/Bike Council in City Hall Park to celebrate World Car Free Day on September 22nd! This public event will be held from 3:30-5pm, rain or shine, and will highlight the opportunities available to live car-free in Burlington by walking, biking, and using public transit. The BWBC and our partners want to provide college students, faculty, and staff – especially those who are new to the area – with resources and reasons to live car-free in Vermont. Meet on the UVM Campus Green to walk, bike or jump on transit down to City Hall Park. Free Ben & Jerry’s ice cream will be available to those who participate in the event and there will be a chance to win prizes via a raffle!

Participating organizations include Car Share VT, Green Mountain Transit, CATMA, Net Zero Vermont, Local Motion, the UVM Sustainability Office, Sustainable Tran

sportation Vermont, and the Champlain College Sustainability Office.
